Went to swap meet. Items far more reasonable than the one’s we attended in Phoenix. Purchased a pound of leather scraps. The marine helicopters were out in force. They’re not quiet. Some fighters were flying too, but not as many as day before. Checked out other rv parks and decided that the spaces in this one are larger.
January 16, 2005
Visited a few stores. Found the other Walmart. Saw where Chris and Jim are camped. Had delicious steak for dinner. Need to go get more before the sale ends. Found that we can purchase salted or desalted water at various self serve water stations.
January 17, 2005
Went to the territorial prison. 
Enjoyed it.
Went to date farm in Bard, CA 
and had a delicious date shake. Saw how the lettuce harvest works. Looked around the historical district downtown. Found that the grocery stores are safer after 7 pm. Think they’d improve even more after 8 pm, when all of the fiesty older folks are no longer out and about.

Keiko and the neighbor puppy got to play some this morning. Went to tractor museum. Saw toy tractors
, full sized tractors
, peddle tractors, and old cars 
. Checked out some of the stores in the mall. Picked up shells along the canal bank. Complete clam shells are just buried in the dirt. Puzzled as to their origins.

Did laundry. Built sewer hose racks. Fixed a cabinet door. Washed half of the fiver.
January 20, 2005
Fixed leak in hot water tank fittings. Visited the Peanut Patch. Looked at all the expensive candies. Found interesting discount store.
January 21, 2005
Went to Algadones Mexico with Jim and Chris. It was a lot nicer than Nogales. It was cleaner and once one got away from the main street, the store keepers became less pushy. Saw a costumed street performer 
with flute and goat hoof rattles. Had margaritas and nachos. Chris was shocked at the lack of cheddar cheese on the nachos; waiter reminded her that it was Mexico. Finished washing the fiver. Mail arrived and we went through it. Called Boyd to let him know that we’d be in Tucson.
